Click to zoom the imageThe story of XANG started in September 1995: Manu and Vincent played in a band of jazz-rock (Manu at the drums, Vincent at the keyboards).  The feeling between us passed well, so they decide to make their own band.

Matthieu, brother of Vincent joined them at the bass a little later.
After many tests, it is Antoine who is finally chosen, in August 1997, as guitarist.

A demo carried out at homr in October 1996 attracts many positive reactions to them and even allows them to play at  Corbigny'ProgLive in August 1998.

They meet the creators of Galileo Records there: thus they record their first album  «Destiny of a dream» which is released in 1999.

This album enables them to take part in other festivals
: Sarlat Progfestival (june 2000), Progfarm (Netherlands, november 2000), Rio ArtRock festival (Brazil, november 2001), Progsol (Switzerland, october 2002 et october 2007).

After several years of waiting, «The Last of the Lasts»is finally released in January 2007, these is a concept album on the First World War, about the inhuman conditions whose the soldiers are victim.
The music mixes influences of hard, melancholic, symphonic, progressive, acoustic and even industrial!
