Chronicles

Les nouveaux Mondes

For their first album, they invite us, through a melodic progressive rock, to join the world of Jules Verne. Throughout this album, we are on board of the Nautilus or in the company of Philéas Fogg. They present a direct rock to us while inserting there a sound of discrete keyboard which comes to reinforce the progressive side. The headlight title being obviously “Phileas” which as its heading indicates it is dedicated to him like to its round the world tour in 80 days.

Présages

For their second album, we can say that Nemo continues to look further into its music, we can find there more surprising rhythmic. Nemo does not change for all that style, we remain in the accessible rock, a great progressive feeling but where all the musicians can show their technical qualities. They leave aside the world of Jules Verne and speaks this time about five futuristic predict concerning ecology, the future of the human being or the religion…

Prélude à la ruine

Nemo presents a less melodic album, more nervous, sometimes pulling on metal, while keeping its progressive side. We spot immediately the will of the band to reach new horizons, to simply discover what they can do. We will retain also the superb ballad “Eve et le genie du mal”, the single. At the level of the lyrics they also radically change of subject, we see here a down-to-earth subject: the industrial revolution on bottom of First World War.

Immersion publique live

With this live album, Nemo shows us that it is also a very great band in concert, we can say that moves… we would like to be there. There is not anything else to say: such an atmosphere cannot be described.
