Biography of Karma Depth  Biography |  This Belgian band of progressive metal starts, in 1998, by a meeting between Hans and Lorenzo. In fact, they knew each other for a certain time, but never had the occasion to play together.
Initially, they are satisfied with experiments of various kinds in their room of repetition.
It's only in 2001, that the line-up is stabilized with the arrival of Dieter: this injects an approach more sympho-progrock.
The musical baggage very different from each member generates a melting-pot which becomes the trademark of the band.
After three years of composition, their first CD: «Resilience» is finally released on March 2005.
Lorenzo, founder and principal composer of the band leaves them.
Its replacement was difficult to ensure, but the choice was made finally on Jeroen which enabled them to ensure the concert « Taste of Belgium » at the Spirit of 66 in Verviers in December 2006. |
