Biography of Hypnos 69

Hypnos 69

Biography

Founded in Diest in 1994 by Tom Vanlaer, Steve and Dave Houtmeyers, this Belgian band revives in his own style the psychedelic and underground rocke scene of the sixties and the seventies.
The name of the band is drawn from the antique Greek god of the Sleep and the Subconscious, the number 69 is representative of balance and stability, qualities found in their music.

The last album  «The Eclectic Measure», released in 2006, appears darker than the precedents and coincides with a temporary split in the band.
Fortunately, since summer 2007, Hypnos 69 took again the road to the stage with the firm intention to still produce many discs!
