Biography of Heonia  HEONIA is a melodic metal band located near LILLE influenced by the prog, the heavy and the death.
The band is composed from six musicians: Marieke to the song, Thomas & Cédric to the guitars (lead & rhythmic), Damien to the keyboards and grunts, Cléo to the bass and Rudy to the drums.
The band was born in January 2006 after the meeting between Thomas and Marieke. The fruit of their common work will be Despair, first piece of HEONIA, Composition to the changes of constant rhythmic and splitting; then the Voice, as for her more linear and hard.
The formation itself fabric considerably in some months from June 2006 with the arrival of Damien, Cédric and Rudy. The different musical universes of each bring keys melodic, dark, and complex to the musical compositions.
This is in August 2007 that the line-up will be completed until his current composition while integrating Cléo in the band. His rock pop universe brings a harmonic regulated rhythmically complement and colored screw to lives dark guitars.
Member influences are varied and go from The Gathering, Nightwish, Within Temptation, to Opeth, My Dying Bridle while going through Bread Of Salvation, Windir, Dream Theater, Stream Of Passion and many others...
This mixture contributes to deliver through HEONIA a dark, melodic and progressive sound that make his uniqueness. |
