Biography of Globalys Biography | This is a band of excellent musicians from Brussels which began his career with audacious covers, but perfectly interpreted, of Camel, Genesis while passing by King Crimson and from others. At the beginning, their demo had only been recorded for a single passage to the «Les Classiques de Radio 21» which presented this day the bands invited to concert-meets «Pengla-Prog-Résiste-Spirit of 66» on February 24 and 25, 2001. The diffusion of «This Mind Is Mine» was followed of a mail full with enthusiasm and encouragements, requests for copies and information … the listeners had just decided on another destiny for this recording! In two months the events are linked: the concert has its small success, a second passage in radio («Eagle & Bacon») is well accomodated and some persons question their record dealers who then contact the band! The passion, above suspicion at the beginning, for this four titles demo, decides the band to launch a pressing to large scales, while keeping the natural sound « home made » of origin which perhaps contributed to the attraction of the CD. |
