CAP

Biography

Click to zoom the imageIt's in 1971, near Novare in Italy that CONSORZIO ACQUA POTABILE begins, i.e. CAP, in full rise of the progressive rock.
After some appearances in concert in their area, taking again pieces of the Italian prog, the band moves towards personal compositions and launches out in the ambitious project to create and produce a work-rock. Thus is born  «Gerbrand-opéra-rock», with modest means, a discrete light show and an original tale, the band obtain a certain notoriety at the local level.
Then the band increases with few musicians and continues its gigs while it soaks up more and more with pieces of  Banco del Mutuo Soccorso.
The band takes part in a pleasant meeting with other progressive bands and comes into contact with musicians who will inspire them to prepare an album wished for a long time.
Shortly after the beautiful time of the prog, the band dissolves but the beginning of the nineties seems to bring a renewal to the progressive music and the interest goes again on CAP.
