Calliope

Biography

Click to zoom the imageCALLIOPE begins in 1989 at the initiative of Rinaldo Doro, clavierist of  Arti & Mestieri during the seventies.
The first album of CALLIOPE (first publication of the label Vinyl Magic New) gains as many good criticisms of good sales.
The clavierist who has a true arsenal including Mellotron 400 in particular, defines the sound of this band in a word: Italian.
On the album «Il Madrigale del Vento», the kind of music moves away from the rock and becomes more symphonic and orchestrated like the bands  Banco del Mutuo Soccorso or Griphon (using ancient acoustic instruments): the models of CALLIOPE.
