Founded in 1996 like studio project by Geert Fiew, the music of Beyond The Labyrinth evolves in a progressive metal of very good technique. The inclusion of other musicians allows the release of a demo in 2000, followed in 2004 by «Demo 2004-2005». It's in 2005 that the official album: «Signs». The changes of line-up being frequent, it is in February 2007 that the band changes name into «BTL» (at that time, the group includes in particular the bass player of Imperia!). In aout 2007, return to the formula of studio project like in the name of origin: Geert Fiew is again alone at the controls.
